We 1st stopped on the 30th of july. After finding a cell signal thanks to the ranger all was good. Hot spot didn't work Decided to stop again on the return trip and although we just overnighted got to explore a bit more. This place will be added to future WA to MI trips.

The spot was well maintained! It was beautiful! It’s too hot in the shower area though.

We were in spot 5, and I think it was the nicest spot in the whole campground. As far as being private and shady. The shower houses were very hot and that can't be helped because it's a concrete building in the Sun. But the water was almost uncomfortably hot, and there was absolutely no way to reduce the temperature of it. And I think that added to the hotness of the shower room. Despite there being a little sign by the vault toilet, saying it was a cell phone hotspot. There was no cell service, no matter where we went or how we held our phones. Google Fi , which uses t mobile towers, no signal anywhere in the park.

Good campground, clean and well maintained. Note: site 5 has a bright light by it… great for safety, not for tent sleeping under the stars. Also, if you arrive late, the campground does not sell firewood. The nearby “resort” does but closes at 9pm. Plan accordingly.

Get a garbage dumpster instead of cans. They are always overflowing.
