very nice campground. a lot of the sites were surrounded by trees and quite large. the only downside is lack of phone service. i know people think a campground should be away from phones, fine, keep yours off. However, I am on call search and rescue, my phone is an important tool in my work. for people hiking the back country, there is no better piece of safety equipment then a phone with service. I did not make reservations before getting to this campground, I wanted to see it first. trying to make reservations on line with almost no service is a challenge

Very nice campground, would be a great place if you like fishing. I stayed for 2 nights, which were absolutely great but would not want to stay any longer. Great to kick back and relax but I prefer to do things like biking and hiking, this is not very good for that. Last thing, the cell service there is very poor, could not make a call from the camp sites and the WIFI access points were poor at best. I personally will not stay there again but dont get me wrong, its a very nice campground, just not what I am into for activities.

We found Eggerts Landing to be very relaxing. We like the sites divided by trees. Friends were able to come for a visit. We were in our own world.

This is a quaint campground, located near the shores of Lake Ashtabula. The facilities are clean and well maintained. It's an easy walk for breakfast or lunch if you aren't cooking. Campsites are well defined, provide good privacy and with ample parking.
