About Eggerts Landing
The Eggerts Landing Campground is located on Lake Ashtabula in eastern North Dakota. With thick forests, secluded sites and lake access, it is the most popular campground in the area.
Lake Ashtabula was created by the construction of the Baldhill Dam on the Sheyenne River in 1944, and is situated in one of the most scenic river valleys in the region, offering visitors a wide range of recreation opportunities year-round.
Summer activities include fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking, while Ice fishing and cross-country skiing are popular during winter months.

The weather was great, the campground was nice and bathroom, shower rooms were clean.. we were kept awake by the loud partying by our camping neighbors till 4:30 am. Chatting with a park personal we were told they really don't enforce quiet hours till after memorial day..we will just have to not camp before memorial day for a good experience..at least not at this campground..

Beautiful location, wooded trails were a family favorite, private sites, cleanest bathrooms (including vaulted toilet) that we have seen at a campground. Could have stayed a lot longer than we planned, will definitely be planning more trips here in the future!

We have camped here many times. The sites are separated from each other giving a good deal of privacy. The campground is kept in good shape, and clean.
