Quiet, clean, nice big area. Core was fast at fixing breaker box.

Need to cut back bushes next to site 19, as it is very difficult to get a motorhome into that spot without branches scraping the side. Shorter vehicles would have no problems, but bushes are wider and stick out over paved area from 9-13 feet high.

The firewood for sale at resort store was overpriced and small pieces. Priced at $1 a piece. Basically had to drive to a Valley a City for firewood. Found a spot just outside of town, 15 pieces for $10. I miss the days when there was free wood onsite, you just had to cut it yourself. Other than that itβs a nice quiet campground. The sites are not right on top of each other. But wish the sites were closer to the lake, or at least a view of the lake from the sites.

Great place to camp with the kids. Large campsites and the new bathhouse makes for a great camping experience.

The main route to the park is via Interstate 94 to Valley City exit 292. Follow the signs through Valley City and turn left onto County Road 19. Travel for 10 miles.

- Firewood restrictions are in place; because of the potential to carry invasive insects, absolutely no outside firewood is allowed
