What Guests Are Saying

Western Reserve Campground has friendly and helpful staff, with many guests praising employees like Hunter and Dustin for their exceptional service. The location is nice, especially for events like the Fourth of July, featuring great bands and fireworks. However, some visitors noted issues with site conditions, lack of activities for kids, and the campground's decline in community atmosphere compared to previous years.

No hate to the Owners. But I don’t think anyone that’s supposed to reviews lately ever went For the decades before when it used to be opened. Where the public pay To get in without owning an RV. When the lakes always used to be so full with people and during Fourth of July, there’d be so many huge events. I remember when I was younger there were hundreds of kids just at the playground and I had so many friends that I rode bikes with around and then we’d go to the ice cream stand and play in the old arcade. It’s not the same anymore I think the worst thing that happened was that it stopped being a community area. Even when my dad used to go when he was a teenager with his friends, he said it was always the same.

We were disappointed in our camping trip. Although the staff was friendly, the seasonal campers were not and many of the sites were not kept nice. The site we were placed at because of electrical issues had rusty nails all over the site. No activities for kids, in fact got yelled at by a seasonal for trying to go to bingo with my 10 year old because it was for adults only. Would not recommend or visit again. Positive: the trail around the lake but they closed it off half way through our weekend.

First time ever going camping. We just purchase a RV in July. So many things we didn’t know. We pulled up there Friday with the warmest greeting. Employees was exceptionally nice. Other camper was truly a gem to be around. Felt like we had left the out side world and was joined near the lakers with others that had left. Hated to leave . Definitely will be returning. Thanks so much for all your kindness and knowledge.

We were given site 37 - in between two old permanent campsites. The drive was narrow, and most difficult to back into. Although I read a review about the WiFi, we were told there was NO WiFi by the staff. *Both staff members that we met were positive, and helpful - Hunter and Dustin. The location was good for attending the Canfield County Fair.

We wanted to see the band for Fourth of July, but we didn’t try to reserve until late. However, Hunter and Dustin made it happen for us!!! They worked very hard to get some new sites ready despite the rainy weather we had and were able to get us in!
The weekend was FANTASTIC, the staff were phenomenal, the band was GREAT and the fireworks were AMAZING!
One of the BEST camping trips EVER!
