Site #11 is very close quarters. The trees are very close together, making it difficult to setup with slideouts.

Been going to Leith Run every year for past twenty years. This trip was we were very disappointed. Arrived on Thursday afternoon to find 30 amp. outlet was melted. Located campground host and I was informed outlet had been like that all summer and that no one was available to fix it. We had many tree limbs hanging over our site and had to position camper so roof would not be damaged. This was Labor day weekend and on Saturday the campground host decided to mow the grass blowing grass onto several campers rugs and sitting areas. Both restrooms were not clean and light burned out in men's pit toilet.

Beware. There are no water hookups on individual sites. Otherwise, the campground is very good. The sites are large and the campground is clean and kept quiet.

Leith Run campground is not as well taken care of as it was when we first started camping there twenty or so years ago. The grass isn't mowed or trimmed as often as it needs to be. We understand that the host has had the mowers and trimmers taken away and others are supposed to come in and do the yard work etc. The walking paths are muddy and full of debris. We parked on Thurs. and left Sunday never seeing the host the whole time. We don't use the public bath house/restroom because it isn't kept clean. We have always thought the campgrounds run by the Corp of Engineers were top notch. Based on the condition of Leith Run this isn't so.
