Campground was clean and well groomed. The restrooms were kept clean and stocked by the hosts. Showers were clean and had plenty of warm water. I enjoyed hiking down to the lake each day but it was too cold to swim. Enjoyed my stay and there were plenty of trees to hang my hammock on. I will return.

We loved the simplicity of iron ridge. Our campsite was 031 and it had so much space away from others and was so close to the trail. Bring sanitizer or your own hand soap though. There was a none in our bathroom.

The weather was pretty chilly, but even so, we had an excellent experience on our walks and in the campground. I liked having water and electric at my site. Beautiful forest!

Campground was quiet. Lower bathrooms were out of order first 3 days requiring drive to upper bathrooms, Great camp host, Campgrounds clean and maintained. No firewood for sale on site.

Very quiet, beautiful campground with good size sites. Camp host very friendly. The park is clean with well marked trails and a beautiful lake. Great fishing, kayaking, and boating.

THERE IS NO HOT WATER IN THE BATH HOUSES! I’ve never been to a campground that didn’t have hot water in the bath houses. Plus, there is zero Wi-Fi and if there’s an emergency, you’re out of luck. The no hot water and zero Wi-Fi needs to be put on the amenities.

Interior roads are dangerous with non-forgiving low shoulders and non-existing signage or
delineators. Total lack of security because the front entrance host wasn't present during the day for the majority of my stay.
Showers are cold water and worthless. The nearest to our campsite bathhouse was closed and out of order and instructed to use the Hilltop bathhouse.
We drove the hilltop loop circle twice looking for the exit road which appears to someone not familiar with this campsite to be just another camping spot, that is in fact; obtuse-angled sharply downhill the main road. (no direction signage and/or delineators).
One evening your hilltop camp host was with a guest who was blocking the one-way entrance road to the bathhouse, sitting in their running truck in deep conversation while totally and rudely ignoring us trying to proceed, Had to back up and go the wrong way around to the toilet. "Guess they showed those out-of-state people". This place should be Closed to the public.

Iron Ridge CG offers many spacious sites as opposed to the Oak Hill CG. Some sites offer good privacy, too. One actually feels like you're in the middle of the forest. Electric & water hook-ups are available at most sites and the CG offers several tent camping options as well. The CG offers two restroom/shower facilities. Shower water is nice and hot, but shower rooms lack heating. Overall, this is a great "get away" place.
