It was really nice and we will be back next year and every body was nice the camp host and the park ranger was a nice guy too he did a good job patrolling the camp grand

Quiet, beautiful camping site. Clean shower and restroom. One restroom was out of order.

Our campsite was very nice ! Private with shade and campground was quiet. We enjoyed going to the Lake and hiking. Only complaint ladies bathroom toilet side was out of order the whole time we were there ! So everyone had to use the mens side. It was smelly and dirty from Monday till our last day there which was Thursday when it was finally cleaned.. In the past the bathrooms were clean so this was disappointing and worrisome with Covid.

We tent camped at site 25 and it was a great spot. The sites are well dispersed and there is a water spigot close by shared by all the tent sites. The bathrooms were clean but no soap. There is no camp store but a camp host can help out if needed. Lake is gorgeous and you can rent kayaks and canoes at the boat dock. Will come back again!

We just arrived, parked and spent the night. Rained so didn’t do much. One of the 2 bathrooms by us was out of order so was a bit of an inconvenience.

Beautiful campground! The spots themselves are spaced out very well, the campground is very clean as well. Would love to go back!

It was beautiful. The only problem we had was there was a few wipes on the ground that was used that was kinda nasty but no one’s fault but the camper that did it. I would go back again for sure.

We came for a night of tent camping on the way to Minnesota and arrived in time to enjoy an evening at the campground. The hosts were wonderful and the bathroom / showers were well kept and clean. It was our first time in Ohio and we hope to return again!

From U.S. Highway 52 at Ironton, Take State Route 93 north for 6 miles to the Lake Vesuvius Road (County Road 29). Turn east toward Lake Vesuvius and travel 1 mile to the recreation area.
