We are new to the NorthEast Oklahoma area and this was out first camping adventure.......
Camp grounds were very clean! No trash anywhr! We arrived on a sat afternoon, park was clean even with ALL SITES FULL!!! usually, most places when full capacity....for example trash cans are full and running over, not at Spencer Creek! The Park Host couple were on top of things and did an AWESOME JOB maintaining the grounds!!! Which all staff that weekend were extremely friendly! Hate to hear that the lady that runs the entrance gate is retiring this season! ***GREAT JOB YA'LL***

The website was a bit tricky to manage. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Very friendly. Bathrooms very clean. Nice camping area.

This campground is not far from our home. We love going and just getting away for a few days in middle of week. It's too bad the site we like to go to shuts down Oct. 31 or we would take advantage of it year round. In the summer there's a short walk to the beach to enjoy. There is also a playground for the kids and a trail you can walk, just not wheelchair friendly; which is what we need for our special needs son. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. (don't find that in some campgrounds) If you have a boat there is a ramp and we see people fishing a lot when we go.

Sites have to share water from a long way away. The road is very tight to navigate with a large RV in the camping area. I noticed several trees that had fresh gouges and scrapes on them along the road.

It was a pleasant stay but we got locked out our last night because the gate closed at 10pm and the camp host wasn't available at the gate. Would be a perfect 5 Star if there were sewer hook ups and more available water hook ups.
