There was a barking (YAPPING) small dog in a pen outside of a camper that was near the host camper. It drove us crazy. You expect some barking but these people let it go on all weekend. We thought they would leave Sunday but no they stayed until Tuesday like us, UGH. There was also two campers just across the street that professed to being friends with the same hosts. One flooded our campsite washing their picnic table off and the other dumped his gray water the next day again flooding our campsite. If there were attentive camp hosts our little mini vacation (5 campers in total) would have been great. The park rangers had to come in and quite down some other folks but at least they were doing there job. Oh and another strange thing, most of the tables are on the wrong side of the camper which makes it a bit awkward if you have a strangers table 5 feet from yours. One more thing, probably can not be helped but there was no cell service either.

We have been going to Spencer Creek for 20+ years to crappie fish and the campground has improved greatly since Bob and Sharon Peterson became the Park Hosts. Prior to them it was a very neglected primitive type park with no care. Now it is a beautiful, clean, family oriented place to camp.
We enjoy our annual spring trip!

It was a great environment for myself, my friend and my kids. It was more than we expected. But, due to travel issues, we got to Spencer Creek at 9:30pm, unaware the gates closed at 8pm. We called the number but it was not very helpful so we had to turn around and try to find another spot or grab a motel. Fortunately, we found Blue Creek just 5 minutes away and got a spot out there but we had to reserve an extra 2 days in order to reserve a backup spot for one night. The next day, we ventured over to our first reservation and it was beautiful. Great sunset, great view of the lake, and besides the locked gates, it was a great experience.

Nice park. Electric only. Water if you have a splitter and 200 ft hose. We had some pretty damn good neighbors. Helped us out un hooking 5 wheel. I need to make some new blocks and chalks. Great time tho

Great camp sites, all together a wonderful campground. They don't have water at each site so be prepared.

This was super nice park and places gave us plenty of room from other campers. The bathrooms have shower and are crazy nice and clean. They even smelled good when you walk in.
