What Guests Are Saying
Potato Hills Central is a well-maintained campground with spacious sites, beautiful views, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for camping and outdoor activities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the camp host, Jordan, enhancing their overall experience. While some restrooms could use improvement and the lake poses navigation challenges, the campground's natural beauty and tranquility make it a favorite destination for many.

Sardis is 1 of my favorite places to ride and camp. Camp sites and trails are always clean. I only have 1 complaint and that is the non-horse people taking up our horse spots with pens. If you do not have a horse you should not be allowed to camp in those spots.

For the most we had the park to ourselves. Beautiful sunrises and sets, quiet. We really enjoyed our time spent.

We were the only campers in the 94 site campground - mid-week in December. We took several beautiful walks - using the horse trails with the helpful color coding.

This remote campground is located in a very scenic area with lovely fall colors in autumn. Only one loop was open to reserve after Thanksgiving, and the campsite was spacious enough for our fifth wheel and truck without having to unhitch. It was a short walk to the lake's edge, and the water and electric sites were spaced out well with large beautiful oak trees surrounding them. My only complaints would be the lack of pavement for site D77 (since it was terribly muddy after days of rain) and the rustic nature of the restroom in that loop. There were no showers, soap, paper towels, or hand dryers, but at least it had flush toilets.
