What Guests Are Saying
Potato Hills Central is a well-maintained campground with spacious sites, beautiful views, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for camping and outdoor activities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the camp host, Jordan, enhancing their overall experience. While some restrooms could use improvement and the lake poses navigation challenges, the campground's natural beauty and tranquility make it a favorite destination for many.

Our stay was a little cool this trip, but the park was beautiful, clean, and refreshing! The geese were few but were coming in and making their wake up calls. The evening walks were pleasant and quiet. This stay was so wonderful if it had only been a little warmer as we were somewhat shy of building a fire. We had to leave a few days early because of storms coming in too. Looking forward to next stay!

Must be crazy to camp in February! Right! We had the best time! The restrooms were warm and clean, the camping areas were clean. This was the first trip for our puppy, no one else in the park, so she had no drama, she had a great experience too! Oh! The weather was terrific as well, we were so blessed on this entire trip, only we planned on 2 more days, and we had to leave due to bad weather coming in. But we had an awesome week of awesome weather to enjoy God's awesome beauty at Potato Hills.

November is probably not the best time to visit. We were in the farthest camp ground (the only one open). Our spot was very unlevel. There were no hiking trails to access, so really not anything to do.

Great park. Stayed on Loop D, the equestrian campground. Great bathrooms, very clean. Only con was lights turned were on timer and it was dark in bathroom much of the time. Also, no signage to mark loop D. Signage points to loop A and B. Just kept driv Big and stumbled upon D. Definitely needs better signage. Some spots not as level as others. Great views of the lake from all spots. Overall, great park! Will be back!
