What Guests Are Saying
Potato Hills Central is a well-maintained campground with spacious sites, beautiful views, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for camping and outdoor activities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the camp host, Jordan, enhancing their overall experience. While some restrooms could use improvement and the lake poses navigation challenges, the campground's natural beauty and tranquility make it a favorite destination for many.

There were no showers or even running water in the bathrooms. The power went out to the area we were camping in and when I went to the camp
Hosts trailer there was a sign that said don’t knock. I had to knock to notify them and when I did the host was very rude and said she would call the power company and slammed the door. The water hook ups for our trailer was so far away our hose wouldn’t reach and a person would have to have several just to reach. We left the first day and didn’t receive a refund for the 2 other days we paid for. Will not go back until major problems have been corrected. Worst place We have ever camped!!!

Saw a Park ranger drive thru part of our loop once, about 5 seconds worth. THIS CAMPGROUND NEEDED MORE SECURITY. RVer ran generator 24 hours none stop. Dogs from several RVer ran free. Pooped where they wanted to and was never picked up.
Sites needed gravel. Had to walk in clay mud to get from vehicle to car. Had to walk in clay mud to get from RV pad to Picnic table pad. Bathrooms were only mopped periodically not daily.

The location is great, most spots are at Potato Hills. We love camping there, but with this trip we had some rude neighbors. We left early to let the crowd have a good time.

Loved our spot and lakeside view, but due to the two other families walking thru our area constantly , sitting at our table, we would look out our front camper door and there would adults and kids right outside of it ??? They were locals from the area and friends with the camp host apparently because we watched the camp host come by and get beers from them lol, now with all this said the campground is a very nice campground , beautiful lake and lots of nice spots, we just so happen to camp in the wrong spot this trip.

Love this park. So beautiful and peaceful. Staff is wonderful if you need them, otherwise they disappear. Have booked our favorite spot one weekend a month throughout the summer. The app is great and so easy to use.
