What Guests Are Saying
Potato Hills Central is a well-maintained campground with spacious sites, beautiful views, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for camping and outdoor activities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the camp host, Jordan, enhancing their overall experience. While some restrooms could use improvement and the lake poses navigation challenges, the campground's natural beauty and tranquility make it a favorite destination for many.

The camp is impeccably clean. Camp host is friendly and available, and makes regular rounds through the camp checking on things. I feel very safe and comfortable when I camp here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anybody wanting a nice, quiet camping experience.

This park was wonderful. It was quiet and peaceful. We saw several birds, squirrels, and even two beavers.
We did have some trouble with our campsite (A19) -- the grill had a hole in the bottom of it, and the grate on the fire ring was bent, so we were unable to grill on that. We camped in a tent, and the ground in some places was VERY hard, so we struggled to get our tent stakes in. Other than that, the weekend was wonderful! Bathrooms were VERY clean!

Camp host and maintenance guy were fabulous. Super service, very friendly, sites in great condition. Our first time at the campground and it was excellent. We will be back.

So much fun and so much quiet and peace. What a great retreat! We stayed 3 nights in loop D. Very reasonable rates, great roads for the kids to bike, and the bath house was clean. Hiked the horse trail, which was also fun. Loop D is set up as an equestrian camp, so there is an extra tap to the rear of the site. Felt safe!

Camp sites are spacious and decent amount of shade. Bathrooms are very outdated and have an infestation of insects.

Loved every minute of it except for the heat but that can`t be helped this time of year.
