Nice quiet spot for the heat of summer. It was not cool, but there was shade and a frequent breeze from the lake. Restrooms were clean and grounds well maintained. The trail between Central and South campsites was a pleasure to explore.

We were told there were improvements made to the park this winter, did not see any... The spaces really need to be repaved, even widen some. We did enjoy most of the stay, on the weekends it tends to get a little louder, means the younger are enjoying the park! That's good to know.
The showers still get good and hot!
Look out when you get ready to leave! There is a grate over the sewer dump! You can no longer insert your hose into the drainpipe to empty your black tank, so it makes a terrible mess, splashing all over.
If it weren't for the problem with the tank emptying this would still be our favorite spot!

Not laid out very well for tent camping. Lack of swimming access to the lake was disappointing.

Absolutely loved it! We did camp for our marriage anniversary and we had a wonderful time. Well maintained restrooms and friendly staff.

Sardis lake is a very relaxing place, quiet, and quite beautiful. All campsites are close to the water and we’ll maintained. Bathrooms are clean and showers are nice . Our campsite and one other had a green metal cover over the picnic table . There was no phone service for Verizon users. Other than those things , it was a very enjoyable place and I would recommend it to anyone. We plan on coming back in the future.

Campsites were in good shape. The pavilion at Group A was a severe letdown. We had 4 inches of leaves under all the tables and in most of the common area. This was not random leaves that had blown in, this was thick matted leaves, dirt and sticks. The fireplace had to be cleaned out so we could use it. One of the lights did not work at all and the other one mostly flickered and worked some of the time. Would expect a clean pavilion to use for the group. Overall I felt our group was disappointed in the location and will most likely not consider this as a destination in the future.

And very helpful.
I just think the sites could use a little mowing
Other than that we loved our experience
