Very few of the sites are remotely level making set up tedious at best. If you like a tight knit campground with more of a party mentality this might be the place for you. Not much about the place made us want to return. Quite disappointing for a Corps of Engineers campground. Redeeming quality was the young man at the gate.

First and only time me & my family will ever stay at this campgrounds ! Although it was a holiday weekend, my family was there for over a week and weren't impressed. We had to get the COE to even mow the 1' high grass, fix the restrooms ( 1970's) basically, cause the hand dryers would shock you when pushed, there is only a couple of sites that are level so bring plenty of blocks or whatever you use. . The day user's overran the paying campers by using the camping area and not the designated day use area , and was allowed by the park rangers. No way I would stay here again.

Site was sloped too much for a motorhome. Used all the leveling blocks i had and still couldn't level. Web site said nothing about slop. Otherwise the park was nice and well kept.

I believe that if you bring your pet with you that you should make it be quiet early in the morning. since some people probably sleeping late.
