What Guests Are Saying
Washington Cove is a well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite for many campers. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, and good access to the lake for activities like kayaking and fishing. However, some concerns include low water pressure, the need for longer hoses, and issues with large rocks in certain camping spots that pose a trip hazard.

First time camping last camping season and the lot that I chose the second trip was the one that I chose every other time that I went out. Perfect spot, and camping is a piece of mind. Love it and Washington cove is a great place.

Nice campground, clean, quite, most site have good shade. Only negative is there is only 30 amp. We plan on camping there again but only in spring and fall. The fishing was good also.

We have camped here many times. This was our first time to try the camp sites near the water. If I had my way all camp sites would be water front but we know that is not possible. In the improvement area for this park would be better parking spots as in level and no ditches from rain water running through the spot. 50 amp service at all camp sites. Much needed tree trimming along all the roads entering and exiting the park along with in the camp sites themselves. I see a lot of newer campers coming in the park and no one likes scratches down the sides of these expensive rigs.

Beautiful campground. Spacious sites We only live a few miles away but it is our favorite place to get away. Grounds and restrooms are always kept clean. ACOE does a great job. Love it.

Would prefer to camp down by the water but people reserve it for all summer or so it seems. We did get some good spots down by the water but it seems the shady spots are always reserved by regular campers. They should only be allowed to stay for a certain length of time and give other people to chance to camp in those spots too.
