What Guests Are Saying
Chicken Creek is highly regarded by frequent campers for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and accommodating staff. Many appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, lovely sunset views, and easy access to water activities. However, there are concerns about maintenance, including overgrown grass, restroom conditions, and the need for better management of noise and site reservations. Overall, campers express a desire to return despite some areas needing improvement.

We had a great time. Might make sure you have a "Y" to split off the water and plenty of hoses. Might need to bring a weedeater too. Other than that we had a great time and will come back. We stayed in spot 50 and liked it.

I felt profiled by the gate keeper. Said we did not look old enough to have an access card. Age has nothing to do with it. I have a disability.

Wish the Corp would concrete all the campsites. Number 11 was a total mud puddle after a rain. Camp host were friendly and the restroom were somewhat clean most of the time.

Overall the park is ok. But needs a a lot of updating. Railroad tiles are rotted and there is rebar exposed in the ground. Also there is sites that has the table on wrong side.
