What Guests Are Saying
Chicken Creek is highly regarded by frequent campers for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and accommodating staff. Many appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, lovely sunset views, and easy access to water activities. However, there are concerns about maintenance, including overgrown grass, restroom conditions, and the need for better management of noise and site reservations. Overall, campers express a desire to return despite some areas needing improvement.

Site was dirty, debri still surrounded the bathrooms and site 100 has another site right in front of it. Looking towards the lake, had a wonderful view of a camper.

Site 44 has a severe ditch in the drive in for getting on the concrete pad. gravel was washed out due to rain I am sure, caused my camper to bottom out when parking it.

We love this place. Wish the description of the space and showed more pictures of surrounding and if enough room to get RV in spots. Description said it was long enough but not enough room to back in. Not enough room and had to change spots…

I love this place, even though the water was still up and swimming was not ideal, I'm sure when I go back and the water is lower it will be an even greater experience. Keep up the good work to all those involved in keeping Chicken Creek campground running.

First our spot was canceled due to water level and we had to swap sites twice. I was told my children were not allow to ride their scooters in the park due to safety concerns.
Gate attendants were not very pleasant and kept interrupting our camping experience. I don’t camp to talk to the workers, I camp to get away and enjoy time with my kids.
