What Guests Are Saying
Chicken Creek offers a beautiful camping experience with stunning lake views, peaceful surroundings, and well-maintained campsites. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and volunteers, as well as the easy access to water and nearby amenities. However, some concerns were raised about the condition of the facilities, including overgrown grass, restroom maintenance issues, and low tree limbs that could damage taller campers. Overall, guests have enjoyed their stays and express a desire to return despite the noted drawbacks.

While we did pay for an rv spot with water and electricity they seemed to have forgotten to give us a water spicket and the tenant next door wasn’t a sharer. That’s not the parks fault but it was a minor inconvenience. The water was nice and stayed shallow for a ways out so it was good for the kids. Wake zone and rules of the water were totally ignored by almost every jet ski and many boats so I would like to see some park rangers out on the water to make it safer for all of us. The night we went there was live band that kept the entire family entertained, the store at the top of the park has a little bit of everything and the workers, possibly owners as well, idk, were very nice and made me feel at home when I woke up and went for my morning coffee.
First time visitors for here but long time campers and we will go again.

Very beautiful area. We were right on the water and it everything was great. More trees for shade would be nice but that may take a few years to grow in. We will be back and spot 33 or 34 will always be a great choice.

This is a beautiful location on Tenkiller Ferry Lake, OK. The park is well maintained. Even on the "busier" weekends the RVer's were respectful and quiet.
The sites are larger and spaced out nicely.
The only thing I didn't like about the sites was the large timbers outlining the parking. It was difficult to get the steps of our rig adjusted out.
We originally booked one week but enjoyed it so much we added a second week to our stay.
Highly recommend to anyone wanting some peace and quiet in a beautiful location.
