What Guests Are Saying
Chicken Creek offers a beautiful camping experience with stunning lake views, peaceful surroundings, and well-maintained campsites. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and volunteers, as well as the easy access to water and nearby amenities. However, some concerns were raised about the condition of the facilities, including overgrown grass, restroom maintenance issues, and low tree limbs that could damage taller campers. Overall, guests have enjoyed their stays and express a desire to return despite the noted drawbacks.

We were on #26, the table wasn’t usable as the tree there had destroyed the cement around the table. We damaged the roof on our 5th wheel due to low hanging tree branches hanging over the road. We observed several Other campers also damage their roofs. The mowing needs to be more timely . But we enjoyed the park very much and will return.

I can't wait to go back. We loved our spot and it was right by water for fishing and swimming. The campsites have everything you need and expect to be there when camping. So many butterflies were eating on the milkweed growing around. Just a beautiful place and we can't wait for next year.

People camped around us partied until 330 in the morning. Camp sight was nice and well kept. Boat ramp at the camp site was not great and no boat dock.
