What Guests Are Saying
Chicken Creek offers a beautiful camping experience with stunning lake views, peaceful surroundings, and well-maintained campsites. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and volunteers, as well as the easy access to water and nearby amenities. However, some concerns were raised about the condition of the facilities, including overgrown grass, restroom maintenance issues, and low tree limbs that could damage taller campers. Overall, guests have enjoyed their stays and express a desire to return despite the noted drawbacks.

You will need to watch for low hanging limbs as they have not done any trimming since Covid-19 and you need to watch for limbs from the time you leave HWY82-100 and even throughout the park its self.

The grounds are always well kept - the bathrooms could you a little more attention.

Drive was washed out, and there was a huge gully to try to back the camper over. If it hadn't been for the park manager, we'd never have gotten the camper on site. Gary Young and Vonda Young are a real asset to the park.

Loved this site. It felt open and private. Was disappointed that the site wasn’t pre cleaned before our arrival and prior campers were nasty. However ‘beach front’ camping is the bomb!

Not all roads are great, longer RVs will have issues making curves with most spots are full.

Greeted by very nice and friendly staff. Found the cap site clean and mowed. Wild life deer and birds in the area, just a great park that is well run.

Not enough campsites offering 50amp hookups. It would be nice to have a concrete pad to park camping trailers On plus around the picnic tables. more gravel would help if concrete couldn’t be used.
