What Guests Are Saying
Chicken Creek is highly regarded by frequent campers for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and accommodating staff. Many appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, lovely sunset views, and easy access to water activities. However, there are concerns about maintenance, including overgrown grass, restroom conditions, and the need for better management of noise and site reservations. Overall, campers express a desire to return despite some areas needing improvement.

I can't wait to go back. We loved our spot and it was right by water for fishing and swimming. The campsites have everything you need and expect to be there when camping. So many butterflies were eating on the milkweed growing around. Just a beautiful place and we can't wait for next year.

First time to camp here and loved it. Not a bad spot in the entire park.

People camped around us partied until 330 in the morning. Camp sight was nice and well kept. Boat ramp at the camp site was not great and no boat dock.

You will need to watch for low hanging limbs as they have not done any trimming since Covid-19 and you need to watch for limbs from the time you leave HWY82-100 and even throughout the park its self.

The grounds are always well kept - the bathrooms could you a little more attention.

Drive was washed out, and there was a huge gully to try to back the camper over. If it hadn't been for the park manager, we'd never have gotten the camper on site. Gary Young and Vonda Young are a real asset to the park.

Loved this site. It felt open and private. Was disappointed that the site wasn’t pre cleaned before our arrival and prior campers were nasty. However ‘beach front’ camping is the bomb!

Not all roads are great, longer RVs will have issues making curves with most spots are full.
