This was our first trip and we loved every minute of it! We are already planning another trip back. We got sites 23,21,22 for five days. The only concern was there were a few spots of poison ivy by the water on site 23 and 21. We know what it looks like so we just stayed away from it. It was a great camp ground and we plan to return.

Great camping experience! The only complaint is people not having their dogs on leashes. We had a small dog on a leash and were very nervous about the larger dogs roaming free.

Love Cookson Bend it’s our favorite campground on Tenkiller Lake. The works are very friendly and helpful.

We have a reunion at the lake every year. Sometimes the lake is up and we cannot camp down by the water like last year. We still found a place to camp and enjoyed the lake and the reunion and family. We will be back next year god willing. Thanks for the experience.
