Mowing is not kept up anymore, had to bring my own mower to mow campsite. I was told there's not going to be a camp host in the future, which I hope is not true for all the parks need someone there for security.

You'll need 75' water hose. Past that everyone and everything was great! There's not a bad view nor site in this whole campground. The staff are wonderful and always watching out for us ready to help. Even came around as a storm was rolling in to warn everyone.

Nice campground. Has great views of lake . Some sites look like shared water hookups? Didn't use batherooms. has marina right there . Only draw back for us was the road leading into campground, was kinda ruff, not great but was passable .

Great experience, camp ground worker was super nice. An extra dumpster was brought out for the 4th of July crowd.

The hosts at Strayhorn are always welcoming, friendly and available to help with questions and concerns. We ended up leaving a day early this summer and were pleasantly surprised to find out we had received a refund for that day without even inquiring about it before we left.
