We had a lovely time boon docking here. Bathrooms with showers were heated and clean. The 5-mile trail around the lake was an easy hike for me and my puppy. Other campers had left firewood so we cooked dinner on the outside grill two nights. It was quiet and the tall pines were beautiful.

Nice clean place, restrooms and shower house very clean and warm. Camp hosts very helpful and friendly. Definitely will go back again. Cell service of US Cellular was spotty and poor at times.

Be careful which site you select as they are shorter than advertised. AT&T doesn’t work in the park. Beautiful night skies and very quiet. We stayed in late October.

Cedar Lake campgrounds in the Ouichita National Forest are scenic and enjoyable. There are separate campgrounds for campers who boat, fish, hike and for those who are equestrian enthusiasts. Southern Belle Restaurant in close by Heavener is a "must do" eating experience.
