Older campground but nice. Sites may not be level. Camp host was extremely helpful! Nice trails to explore. Trees for shade. No cell service.

Only one set of bathrooms and showers open. Luckily it wasn’t a busy weekend. They really need to get the other bathroom and shower area open

Very nice campground with 20/30/50 amp hookups and dump station. The wildlife refuge itself was unexpectedly wonderful. Much to see and do.

From I-44 take Highway 49 (exit 45). Go west 7 miles to the Refuge gate or 14 miles to the Visitor Center. If coming from Highway 62, take Highway 115 (Cache exit) north to the Refuge Gate.
