I stayed in site #22. It is a pull through site directly on the lake with water and electricity, a fire ring, and a charcoal grill. Very nice, the only downside is it slopes somewhat toward the lake and will require leveling. The restrooms and showers were clean, but there are only two flush toilets and two functional showers for men in the whole campground. No host was in attendance and the reserved sites are not marked. On two occasions there were other campers in my reserved site on arrival, fortunately they had not set up yet and moved . The road coming in from Kellyville has been recently paved and is a great improvement from previous visits. Overall a very nice campground and I hope to return again.

Loved Heyburn Lake COE. It’s quiet and spacious. The lake was beautiful and I was able to get in some swimming and sunning.
I wish I could have stayed here longer but travel plans called me to leave.

Showers have great pressure, and nice hot water, lady cleaning them does an amazing job. Lots of firewood and abundance of different wildlife (beware the coons will take off with food stuff that's left out,:) Ranger Harris is extremely polite and very helpful he had answers for everything and just a really good attitude. The old-timer guys fishing even stopped by and gave us some fish. Really enjoyed it.
