What Guests Are Saying
Buncombe Creek is praised for its clean facilities, easy reservation process, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family gatherings and relaxation. The location near the water is ideal for fishing and swimming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. However, some sites have issues with uneven terrain, mosquito presence, and maintenance needs, particularly regarding electricity and cleanliness of the grounds.

Making reservations was super easy. The location of the site in reference to the water was good. The actual campsite though was so unlevel, broken concrete and a couple of pieces of 5-6" rebar sticking up made it less than safe if you aren't being careful navigating the thoroughly sloped area.

Outstanding spot, very isolated which we loved. We were able to fish and have the boat at the beach area and the bathrooms were super clean. Only recommendation is to make a better spot for the black water dump. It’s too flat and black water goes everywhere other than that it was an awesome experience
