We had a great time at Coon Creek campground. The sites and grass were well maintained. The main Rest Room/Shower was clean and in good repair. This is one of our favorite places to camp at Kaw Lake. We really appreciate the water hookups at each site.

Campsite is well taken care of and facilities are cleaned daily. Good shade if you take the time to look at the available sites online. The lake is extremely low right now which makes boating a little tricky right now. The water level at the dock was 1-1/2 to 2 ft deep. You can see trees poking out 75 yards from the shore. Had a boater towed in as he hit a tree and his entire lower unit was ripped off and lost. If you stay 200 to 300 yards from shore no problems tubing or skiing although there is some floating debris

Karen Bryant is the hardest working , and friendliest volunteer I have ever met. The people in the gatehouse, the worst.
The lake level is ridiculous, so low the boat ramp is completely useless. Campgrounds are clean and well kept. 50 amp service would go a long way.

Karen the host in camp ground was great. Very friendly and helpful. Never seen anyone at the entrance gate during our stay. Mowing was being done while there and safe around occupied sites. Would like to see 50amp electric service installed.

Everything was perfect! Check-in was simple, the camp grounds were well-maintained, and the park staff was friendly. The shower house was cleaned daily. We will definitely be going back!
