Coon creek is the only place my family camps. We love because it is peaceful and quiet. It is very clean and well taken care of. The gate attendees are very friendly.

Spot 24 is the best spot we have found so far! Definitely our new go to! Shade all day, nice breeze off the lake and just all around one of the nicest parks we’ve been too! Karen is so sweet and stayed on top of everything and was super friendly. We will be back! Keep up the great work!

Beautiful site with well maintained hook-ups and amenities. Weak point...the variety and abundance of insects.

The grass was very tall in our camping area. Campground looked unkept.

Would have been perfect except for the inept construction scheduling. The camp ground is closed for 5 months of the year and construction should have been scheduled then instead of having to cancel a week of vacation.

Site No. 20 at Coon Creek campground on Kaw Lake is very easy to access. Has both electric and water at the site. And it's across from the playground for the kids, next to restrooms/showers, and close to the boat ramp.

Love the camp site. The problem is the boat ramp. Lake was less than a foot low and we could not launch a boat. Having too launch at the Marina at Kaw City was a pain. Plus they lock the gates at 10 so if you are out fishing you get locked out if past 10pm. Something need done about the boat ramp or leave the gate open.
