What Guests Are Saying
Mcfadden Cove is a well-maintained campground with beautiful lakeside views and a clean, quiet atmosphere, making it a great spot for relaxation. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts and the convenience of nearby amenities, such as a small store and access to fishing supplies. While some improvements are needed, such as additional trash pickup and shower facilities, the overall experience has been positive, with many guests eager to return.

Lots of shade and close to the water. It was 107 degrees so the all day shade was a blessing. Clean, quiet. Lots of water pressure, I recommend a regulator, although we don't have one, it would have been nice.

The campsite itself was great! We have a very pleasant time. For this campsite being open year round, it would be nice if there was a dump station there, or very close by. We had to drive 4 miles to the one behind the damn or go across the lake to the campground that wasn't even open yet. My husband did get permission from the Lakeview store a mile away to dump our portable tank one time. They are great people there at that store! Highly recommend checking them out. They also have lots of bait selection!

Really nice camp ground with paved site but they were very unlevel. other wise very nice size spaces. The most disappointing part there wasn't a dump station nearby. Closest was 4 1/2 miles away.
