I always enjoy my camping experience in McFadden Cove and it is near Hideaway Marina in the event you need a quick bite to eat or a bag of ice.

Nice paved site with a solid table, water and 30 amp hookup. Small campground and sites are not crammed together. All we need now is some first come first serve sites so people aren’t forced to use rec.gov for everything. Bring back self pay envelopes. Not everyone has a smartphone!

From Ponca City, Oklahoma, travel 7 miles east on Lake Road. Turn north on to McFadden Cove Road and the camground is on the immediate right. If you cross the dam, you've gone too far.
Mcfadden Cove is accessible via Lake Road, which connects to US Highway 77 approximately 15 miles west in Ponca City. US Highway 77 provides further access to major interstates.
