One of the best campsites there. Nice and spread our from the rest of the campground. Don't be fooled by the location being close to the water-side. There is tall brush blocking the view of the closest shore line, but you still get a beautiful sunrise over the lake looking towards the East. There are stray, aggressive dogs roaming around the entrance of the campground so BEWARE. Overall well maintained and quiet. Campground staff will ride around one a noisey golf cart that will sometimes get annoying and disturb your peace. There is a trail nearby, but couldn't get to it because of the dogs. Bathroom sites are as clean as they can get. Would stay again.

Labor Day weekend and they hadn’t mowed in probably 2 to 3 weeks. Tall grass and goat head stickers everywhere. This was at the tent camping sites

Still a scrappy little campground. Hardly any campers at the end of August. The restrooms were clean except for that they were very buggy. Still a layer of dead bugs *inside* the soap dispenser (how does that even happen?). The showers didn’t have knobs and seemed non-functional except the next morning someone was showering (?) So, where’d they get a knob and why no showers in August (?).

Getting There
From Sapulpa, take SH33 and go 7 mi west of Kellyville. Exit on Turner
Turnpike. Follow signs 3.5 mi south from SH33.
From Bristow, take SH48 to 48/33 intersection. Go east on SH33 3.5 mi
to 305th W. Ave. Follow signs south from SH33.
Highway access
Sheppard Point is accessible via SH33, which connects to the Turner Turnpike. SH48 also provides access to SH33 from Bristow.
