Alsea Falls Recreation Site is a beautiful, well-maintained campground that offers spacious, private campsites and easy access to scenic hiking trails, including a lovely trek to Alsea Falls. Beautiful camp ground. Clean. Fun to explore. Short walk to a scenic waterfall. Found a four leaf clover on our hike.

We camp there 5 times a yr. throughout the season for the past 8 yrs. Only wish that the restrooms were more often maintained.

I adore Alsea Falls area, the campground and the surrounding forest. I've stayed in site 6, but prefer site 2 that has a direct path to the creek. John, the camp host, keeps the camp clean. My only disappointment is the seasonal closure starting in October

We made reservations on line but when we arrived at the campground someone was in our site, but not present. We contacted the camp host who apparently did not mark our site as reserved. He continued to tell us that there were no refunds, which is ridiculous when we paid for something we did not receive.
But…. The trails are amazing for mountain biking!
