What Guests Are Saying
Alsea Falls Recreation Site is a beautiful, well-maintained campground that offers spacious, private campsites and easy access to scenic hiking trails, including a lovely trek to Alsea Falls. Reviewers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, clean facilities, and the charming, rainforest setting. While some noted minor issues with bathroom maintenance and road noise, overall, the campground is highly recommended for a relaxing getaway in nature.

When we arrived we were not told that there were no campfires allowed in the campsites and nowhere online did it say there were any fire bans. So we came completely unprepared for not being able to have a fire. The camp host didn’t tell us anything about it and would not refund the fee. So that was $20 wasted. Very disappointing and a terrible experience.

Sites are spaced well so that you feel isolated from other groups. Firewood at site is a good value. Great access from site 4 to river. Clean toilets. This is a repeat visit and would repeat again, highly recommended.

The camping sites were private, the hikes were great. We were lucky with the weather, it was cool and a little wet. Our family had a great time and will return.

Lovely area, we've camped here before. Given the time of year it wasn't surprising that it was chilly at night and a bit rainy during the day, but we're used to it. Campground host was helpful and sites are kept clean.

Beautiful weekend in a gorgeous place. We had a great time and saw some wonderful birds & wildlife right at our campsite! The hike to the falls is gorgeous and we will be back!
