Alsea Falls Recreation Site is a beautiful, well-maintained campground that offers spacious, private campsites and easy access to scenic hiking trails, including a lovely trek to Alsea Falls. This site is a gem! Perfect location at the end of a lollipop loop in the campground with a trail to river access (shallow enough for littles to play with lots of tree canopy for keeping cool on those hot pnw summer days. LOTS of space between sites here, fresh water and ample dishwashing stations. Bathrooms were clean. We loved riding our bikes at the Alsea Trails just across the street and hiking to Alsea Waterfall, absolutely perfect location! Loved and plan to return again and again.

Love it there. I think when people reserve spots and don't show or cancel to open it up for someone else they should be banned or put on some sort of probation from reserving in the future.

This has to be one of my most favorite places to camp and ride! The small campground is private and quiet. The mountain biking is amazing! The kids enjoyed picking berries, swimming in the river, and riding their bikes along the beautiful loop to the falls. The bathrooms are clean and close to all of the sites. And the giant wood stack served up in a wheelbarrow is a fantastic touch! We easily fit two vans, one tent, and two families into one camp spot with plenty of space to move around. Thanks to the amazing camp hosts for working hard to keep things clean and running smoothly. We will be back!

First time camping 2023 and in the state of Oregon! We had site #10, stayed 2 nights middle of the week. The reviews talked about the smell from vault toilets which are right next door but we did not experience any. The site was large, secluded and shaded which was perfect for us. Clean and quiet. We bought wood from host area that lasted the 2 nights, it was quite a bit for $10.00 each. Happy Birthday to me, we will camp here again! The falls were 2 minutes away and there were walking trails throughout the camp site. 🏕 Great time!
