camp spots felt very private nestled in a coast range forest setting with creek a few steps from most sites. Great spot for hiking or mountain biking or just enjoying nature. No electricity or wifi signal (big positive for us) , water taps work well and pit toilets were clean. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful with any questions.

Nice small, clean campground with nice trails nearby but our site was too close to the restroom and there was also an awful smell coming from the nearby water spigot drain. It was backed up and the smell permeated throughout the site. Very uncomfortable. Other than that....not bad.

This is the second time we have campetd at Alsea Falls and both times it has been a wonderful experience, These are the most private campsites in the state. The site is lush and green in dense forrest with great hiking trails.

We went for our last camping trip of the season. The weather was lovely! The campground was so pretty with all the different shades of green. The trails down to the river were fun to explore. The host - Greg & Margrite - were so friendly and helpful. They learned our names right away. We were only able to reserve our spot for 3 nights, but wanted to stay one more night. The hosts kept us informed about cancellations. It ended up that someone who had reserved two places for 3 nights had fewer people camp so they let us use on of their spots for the fourth night. The men enjoyed the mountain biking and us women hiked around. The trail to Green Peak Falls was lovely, and the falls was beautiful.

Lovely spot. Great hikes. Some sites more private, some less. Most along the creek have creek access. Hosts were excellent, helpful, friendly and kept the campground spotless.
