Beautiful area. Clean bathrooms and campsites. There was a good amount of space between campsites too. Hosts were friendly and helpful!

We had an excellent camping experience. Our site was well taken care of and very quiet. Camp host came by often, although we never did get a chance to talk to them. The lake was relatively full yet and our dogs loved swimming. Only one downfall -- mosquitos!!!!

Great campground! Spacious, clean sites and bathrooms. Friendly and helpful hosts. Close to the lake and tons of wildflowers everywhere. What more could you want?

From Baker City, Oregon, travel south on Highway 7 for about 18 miles. The campground and day-use entrance is on the left side of the road. Follow the signs in the Union Creek Recreation Area down to the various campground loops and areas.

PLEASE NOTE: This Union Creek Campground is located in northeastern Oregon in the Wallowa Whitman National Forest. This is not the Union Creek Campground located in southwestern Oregon near Medford. Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination.
