Great campsites on the lake. Good kayaking and reports of good fishing. Beautiful setting and great camp hosts.

For the last five (5) years my family has been camping at Little Cultus Campground, Oregon.
I understand that CLM Services is a new campground management starting in summer of 2019.
Unlike the previous on-site 24/7 campground management services for the last five years, which impeccably maintained and inspected the campground, the empty campsites, the toilets twice daily, offered wood for sale, and provided recycling bins and trash removal, etc., the new management, CLM Services Corp. has trashed the quaint Little Cultus Campground:
For example:
No host on site.
No daily toilet services for several consecutive days - ran out of toilet paper, filthy, and stench unbearable
No recycling bins
No fire wood for sale
Dogs running around off leash.
No noise control (quiet time) and RV generators running at all hours.
Campsites are left with trash with some campfires are smoldering
Trash bins filled to over capacity for several days.

Such a beautiful and quiet lake. Nice big sites. Worth the drive down the washboard road.

While we love this location and facility our little adventure was cut short by the weather (wind and rain) which is always a gamble. We'll still come back this year. Highly recommend.

It was a little confusing to get there because our maps routed us along a four wheel drive road, but there was a better access road a little further down. The campground itself was beautiful and the lake was awesome. We did not have any cell service, but we were able to get some when we walked about half a mile down the road. It was very empty during the week, but more people started coming in on the weekend. There were no rangers stationed there to answer questions, so we had to figure things out for ourselves and ask our neighbors. I would recommend bringing a large water jug to transport the batter back and forth from the water pump because we kept having to walk back and forth. There wasn’t any running water and the toilet paper did run out later on in the weekend, so think about bringing some of your own. There was no fire wood sold there, but I’m pretty sure you are allowed to use whatever you can find around your site. The lake was really nice and it slopes very slowly so it is perfect for families and dogs and anyone who wants to play around in the water. I would go back there because it was a great location, I just wished that I was more prepared and knew what I was getting into.
