What Guests Are Saying
Little Cultus Campground offers a peaceful and clean camping experience, with friendly hosts who maintain excellent facilities. Visitors enjoy the beautiful lake ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding, along with stunning sunrises and starry nights. However, accessibility via a dirt road and limited water supply are notable concerns, along with the presence of mosquitoes at certain times.

We camped at Site 12. We didn't have many site options when we made our reservation but based on the rec.gov map info, it appeared that Site 12 had distance away from Site 11. It doesn't - the sites are right on top of each other which wasn't what we expected. Site 12 doesn't have a direct/easy path to the lake unless you walk through other sites in that loop.
The 3 mi dirt road was in poor shape (washboard; exposed large rocks) as was the campground road - and very dusty. The lake was beautiful. If you stay at this campground, go for the sites in the last loop to avoid the constant vehicle traffic on the dusty CG road. Restrooms were clean! Water is only available in one location between site 2 & 3 (it is far away from many campsites). If we didn't have a campsite reservation, it would helpful if a sign was posted CG FULL before you drive 3 mi on a poorly maintained road - especially if you're driving a motorhome or pulling a RV/popup.

It was a great campout and we loved our spot. #27. Camphost was regular on supplies and maintenance (unlike last year when the bathrooms ran completely out of toilet paper for days). We didn't like the other camp site #26 people taking over all the area behind us with their tents and blocking the trail to the beach there, but that was their inconsideration and not the campground's fault.
We plan to make reservations for next summer beginning this winter (6 mths out).
Thanks

For the last five (5) years my family has been camping at Little Cultus Campground, Oregon.
I understand that CLM Services is a new campground management starting in summer of 2019.
Unlike the previous on-site 24/7 campground management services for the last five years, which impeccably maintained and inspected the campground, the empty campsites, the toilets twice daily, offered wood for sale, and provided recycling bins and trash removal, etc., the new management, CLM Services Corp. has trashed the quaint Little Cultus Campground:
For example:
No host on site.
No daily toilet services for several consecutive days - ran out of toilet paper, filthy, and stench unbearable
No recycling bins
No fire wood for sale
Dogs running around off leash.
No noise control (quiet time) and RV generators running at all hours.
Campsites are left with trash with some campfires are smoldering
Trash bins filled to over capacity for several days.

Such a beautiful and quiet lake. Nice big sites. Worth the drive down the washboard road.
