Lakeside Motel & RV Park

Quiet, peaceful, nice view and access to lake, good fishing, clean, comfortable beds & pillows. I stayed in the motel #4 and #1 (dog friendly). A bit spendy. Friends of mine stayed in the RV park which had a bath house and nice cushy grass. Close to stores and restaurant. Staff super helpful and nice! Their 1st breakfast on Sunday was nicely done! Would definitely stay there again.

I highly recommend Lakeside Motel. Christmas Valley is an out of the way place but an interesting area for a stop. The motel has a great view of a little lake and wonderful star viewing. The bed is comfortable and the shower was great - better than my home shower. The room was clean and spacious. It also had good sound proofing as we saw a family arrive next door but didn’t hear them at all.

I was in CV for work and stayed at this place and it was really nice! Very quiet location, cozy rooms, kind of like little cottages on a small lake. I loved the remoteness of the area and had a great time working there and exploring the sights to see nearby. When I checked out I forgot my pillow and the owner was kind enough to promptly mail it back to me! Thank you very much and looking forward to working out that way again soon.

Stayed @ the RV Park. Very nice grassy area with trees for shade, short walk to the lake & super helpful young man who got us parked & showed us where everything was. Not a fancy place but very clean with huge shower room. Town has a great restaurant & the gas station employees super friendly. They also have a good food, grocery supplies & small gift area. It's a 30 minute drive to Cowboy Diner but definitely worth going! I enjoyed my stay & would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

A breath of fresh air!
This was our 3rd stop on a roadtrip- and the first place we actually felt relaxed.
It was super clean, updated, and all the basic amenities you need.
The view out your window is the little lake and hundreds of birds. Sitting out there with my coffee in the morning was so serene.
Evening was quiet, room kept warm well.
WiFi didn’t work, but you don’t need WiFi in a place like this 😍 Cell service worked great anyways!
25 minutes away from Crack in the Ground and walking distance from town.
Zero complaints- and this coming from someone who is very picky about where she stays and it being worth the price. 😆 It definitely is well worth it!
