So, I've been at the RV park for over a month now, and I would highly recommend anyone that's in the Christmas valley, Silverlake, area or Central Oregon in general, that would like a nice place to park your rv, I would definitely recommend parking your rv at Valley View RV Park. The owner, Sam, cares about the park, and works hard on keeping up the property, and works well with all the customers. He has a nice dog park i use every day. His rates, which are very reasonable, include power, water, and sewer. There are washing machines and showers here. They are kept up. I give 5 stars.

I have been saying at this RV park for over a year now, Sam, the owner is very easy to work with, I highly suggest giving it a try for yourself. Sam has recently added a dog area to the park, he is finishing it up as I take this picture, also, he has changed the lava rock. I can say, There’s always gonna be disgruntled people that don’t pay their rent and end up getting kicked out. Please sift through the reviews and use your better judgment on which ones are real and which ones are just angry people.

It is a work in progress. Yes the lava rock does suck and yes in the winter it you don't take care of your own pipes and that they will freeze up it is just a part of where we live but The pros by far out weight the cons. The showers and laundromat are done and are very nice. The grass is growing. It's nice out here. I love it and Its only 6.5 miles away from work. The owner is a very nice guy. Great place to stay if you just staying for the night or a few days or a permanent resident like my husband and I.

This park is a work in progress and if you choose this park here, you do it at your own risk. Here are the positives and negatives:
The Positives:
- It is quiet and in a beautiful part of Christmas Valley
- They have Power (30 and 50amp), water and sewer hookups at each site.
- Nice grassy area with corn hole boards, horse shoe pits and a fire pit.
- A nice clubhouse with showers and (1) bathroom. They also have a pool table, books to check out and snacks for sale .
- They are pet friendly
- good WiFi signal
The Negatives:
- I reserved site 68 online and paid extra to secure the site, they only have 37 sites that are finished. There are many sites that need to be completed.
- It looks like a big gravel parking lot and construction zone. A lot of trash on the edges of the park. No trees or grass.
- Really none of the sites are level. The tongue of my trailer was the highest I have ever had it to make it level.
- The web site advertises "Heat reducing gravel". It is all lava rock, which makes it harder to get your trailer stable and very difficult to walk on. It is also hard on your dogs paws.
- You share a water spigot with the trailer behind you.
- No picnic tables or other amenities at your site.
- We were there 3 nights and there was no toilet paper in the clubhouse bathroom and the trash had not been emptied the whole time we were there.
I think this park one day could be a nice place to stay but right now the web site is a little deceptive and a lot of work needs to be done.
