This is a really pretty area and a nice little campground took it right off the main road. It was clean and has a bathroom and a good water source. We were hoping to find some mountain bike riding around there but ended up just riding on the road which was fine because the shoulder was really wide. going west from there is where all the fire damage is and lots of road stops because of removing wood. This was a great halfway point between band and Eugene

Great hosts, clean pit toilets, roomy sites. The sound of the rushing River is so soothing we could have stayed another few days. Definitely a treat and will be back for sure

Campground host do not know much if whatβs going on. All they tell you is to go on line! How can you go in line when thereβs no internet service. They donβt know whatβs available for current day or to move between Paradise campground & Mackenzie Bridge. I paid for 2 sites cause I could not get on line to change. Made 2 phone calls to recreation.gov send never received a call back! Recreation.gov is a terrible website to have to book campsites

Definitely would NOT recommend site 7 for anything other than a car and tent. It says you can fit a 24 ft trailer but there is no way the trailer would fit in the tiny space let alone the car that pulls it. Fortunately we had others in the group that were willing to change spots with us. However, they were not arriving until the next day so needless to say it was a little stressful figuring out what to do for the night. Overall, the campground is beautiful and the hosts were friendly and kept the sites very clean.

Our campsite in the fir trees was large and well kept. Restrooms were clean. The Mckenzie River is beautiful and borders the campground. Great place to stay just for a break or If you are rafting the river.
