What Guests Are Saying
Mckenzie Bridge campground offers a beautiful and quiet location with private sites, many near the river, making it a popular choice for repeat visitors. Guests appreciate the lovely natural surroundings, shade from trees, and nearby hiking opportunities. However, some have noted issues with site proximity, restroom cleanliness, and a frustrating check-in experience, particularly regarding reservation management and interactions with other campers.

Campground host do not know much if what’s going on. All they tell you is to go on line! How can you go in line when there’s no internet service. They don’t know what’s available for current day or to move between Paradise campground & Mackenzie Bridge. I paid for 2 sites cause I could not get on line to change. Made 2 phone calls to recreation.gov send never received a call back! Recreation.gov is a terrible website to have to book campsites

Definitely would NOT recommend site 7 for anything other than a car and tent. It says you can fit a 24 ft trailer but there is no way the trailer would fit in the tiny space let alone the car that pulls it. Fortunately we had others in the group that were willing to change spots with us. However, they were not arriving until the next day so needless to say it was a little stressful figuring out what to do for the night. Overall, the campground is beautiful and the hosts were friendly and kept the sites very clean.

Great campsite. Very quiet and clean. The camp hosts are very hard working and diligent and keep the campsites clean. Hats off to them. Thanks for your work.

Our campsite in the fir trees was large and well kept. Restrooms were clean. The Mckenzie River is beautiful and borders the campground. Great place to stay just for a break or If you are rafting the river.

Did not realize we were booking 1/2 of a double site. Difficult to maintain distance from other campers. Early in the season and the pit toilet was already intolerably ripe. Facilities were clean. There were plenty of sites towards the boat launch (down river) portion of the campground that looked pleasant enough.

Campsite was dirty upon arrival, avocado rinds and trash in the fire pit and under the table. Nice campsite though, with wonderful river sounds throughout our stay. Not any great river access while staying here - ok if you are launching a boat but otherwise lacking for general water frolicking. Would likely look into Paradise, Ohallie or Ice Cap for next McKenzie River camping trip.
