Campsites were beautiful and clean. The bathrooms were clean. Showers not available due to covid. Water access was not available. All in all a quiet and peaceful stay. Staff and volunteers very friendly.

Great campground, great staff and great area. Adjacent bike trail is well well worth the effort. Cottage Grove is close by with a couple of nice pubs.

Beautiful area with a fantastic bike trail nearby. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Close to Cottage Grove which has a couple of breweries. We love it there and will be back.

While we really liked the campground and our site, the experience was spoiled by the fact at 8:00am, a crew with three riding lawn mowers decided it was time to mow. In addition to the noise, since it was so dry, the mowers were kicking up clouds of dust that covered everything. Of course, at 8:00am, many of the campers (ourselves included) were at their picnic tables eating breakfast. Very poor planning by the campground management.

We LOVE Schwarz park and am super sad that I can't find any reservations the rest of this summer that coincide with my days off. This place is great for kids, the volunteers and employees are nice and helpful and respectful. Everyone who camps there is there for the same reason, and my kids make random friends every time we go. Every time we camp here, my kids and I are sad to leave and we can't wait to book our next site here.
