What Guests Are Saying
Spring Campground at Crescent Lake offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it a favorite among visitors. While the proximity of tent sites can be a concern during peak times, the peaceful atmosphere during weekdays is highly praised. Although mosquitos and low lake levels are noted drawbacks, many campers appreciate the campground's charm and plan to return.

We loved this campground! Nice size sites. Trees are there but allow light in for good solar energy if you use that (we do). Camp hosts were pleasant. There were a decent amount of mosquitos but it was a late/cool spring so I think will be better in a week or two. 5-10 minute walk to the best parts of the beach from site 46. Lake was 'refreshing.' Nice trail access from the campground.

Rudest camp hosts we have ever encountered. Steer clear and don’t ask for anything if you can help it. The lake was beautiful, bathrooms were clean and our spot was perfect.

We stayed on a July Saturday night and campground was fairly full. Campground is well kept. Paved loops keep it quiet and prevent dust when vehicles drive through. Unfortunately had a loud group as a neighbor with lots of inappropriate language. Not much shade cover for many of the interior loop sites. Sites on the shore much better. I saw reports of low lake level of 21% but not too bad, just a longer stroll to water. But this end of lake has more gradual slope so still good for playing in the water and kayaking. Male Camp Host was VERY grumpy each interaction. His wife was pleasant.

The campground is wonderful and well maintained, but the camp hosts this year are intolerable. They were confrontational over everything. They also have lights strung around their spot that they leave on all night, every night, that are very bright. Another thing, the map of the campground on the website is inaccurate and our group ended up being split up. Spots 36/37 and 39 are not directly across from each other on one side of the bathroom like the map shows. 39 is on the other side of the bathroom, downhill from the other two spots.

The area is beautiful, campground is great, good access to the lake. But what makes this experience bad is the interaction with the hosts. I was yelled at by the female host because my wife brought a vehicle. Now I selected two vehicles on the reservation and have no problem correcting any faults between that website and the campground.
But having a extremely disgruntled attitude along with assuming I know what your day is like is not good for both those trying to escape and breath their crazy lives. Even the family next me came over and said they were yelled at 3 times. I reconfirmed I selected two vehicles and they insisted I pay the 30 dollars even with my disabled veteran pass. A little shady…

Camp host Fay and husband extremely rude towards campers. Dirty bathrooms with no toilet paper. Dates on camp sites were not updated to reflect current availability in campground. They yelled and were aggressive towards our sites for not having a parking pass when passes was clearly visible. Constant contact about dogs off leash when they were on leash at all times. Stated it was The Law when it’s only a policy. Accusations about not paying for extra cars. Same problems with these camp hosts at Crane Prairie 2019. Loud music and bright lights coming from camp host site each night. These people do not care about you or your camping experience, only theirs. Camped July 1st-10th 2022 - 4 sites. We will not be back next year if same camp hosts. Camping should be fun for all, not treated like a boot camp.

Camp host weren't very friendly but they were not rude. Mosquitoes were rough couldn't really keep them away, water level is pretty low. Bathrooms were very clean and very well kept. Overall a beautiful camp ground and a good time.

Not a lot of campers so it was quite relaxing. I wish they would improve some of the sites, level out more, some sites are so steep it is difficult to level equipment. Hosts were very friendly and took time to visit with guests. Would be a great benefit if cell service was available. Had to drive out 6 miles for service
