Great campground, beautiful area but gas generator noise was unbearable! Typically neighbors had one running all day and sometimes until 9:30pm at night. How about banning them from the campground.

Bathroom.. ran out of toilet paper
There was no camp host… one of the campsite played loud music till 11:30pm.

Toilets were a bit smelly, but there were hardly any other campers there first week in October. A bit of smoke from the nearby Cedar Creek fire in the afternoon/evenings, but with the mornings' east wind, all was clean and bright!

Beautiful mellow campground. Good boat ramp, fishing. Lots of trees, trails. Private spaces and open spaces. Lake is beautiful.
Road has some huge potholes. Bathroom smelled of strong urine. Other than that, it was pretty much perfect. We will be going back.

A beautiful area with an aging campground that is heavily used and tough to reserve a favorite site.
Too bad more of the user fees are not used to repair potholes in the roadway as well as the rails of the fence leading to the foot bridge etc. The boat launch has a large hole washed out in the ramp by boaters powering onto their trailers, making loading or off loading near the dock difficult for boaters who choose not to load this way. There is also confusion on user fees for campers using the ramp, are launch fees included in the camping fee, Are trailers left in the parking area by campers subject to the daily fee?
Having said all that, we'll be back, if we can book one of our favorite sites.

Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per single tent site. Two RV’S with tow vehicle per double site or two vehicles per double tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground. |

Reserved Sites will be held until check out time (NOON) the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.

Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity). |

Camping or occupying any location on all National Forest lands for more than 28 calendar days total during a calendar year is prohibited. |
