Well kept sites. Beautiful area and the Care takers are just super sweet! We will be going back as often as possible!

It was exceptionally clean everywhere, including the toilets. There was a bit of noise from the highway but not bad. I wasn't sure where all the trails went to, no signs, so I did not walk them all. My space was somewhat narrow, but not bad for my rig. I'd like picnic table to be closer, so I did not use it. The campground was not busy, but there were cars and people there for day use that were noisy.

The campground is near the beautiful little lake that has a lovely trail going around it. The campground is impeccably maintained and quiet.

Upon arriving at my site, #6, I was shocked to find access to the camping spot was over a bridge and up ten stairs! I realized later, after checking the website again, I had failed to notice #6 was listed as "not accessible." I'm 66 and have some arthritis in my knees, so I would have avoided non accessible sites like #6. With a two-week reservation all paid for and a car full of camping gear, I began moving in, determined to turn a mistake into something that would work. Looking back on my trip to Alder Dune Campground, I have to say I had the best time I've ever enjoyed at a campsite!
I called #6 "my Treehouse" and had a most wonderful two weeks ever!! Those "lemons" (mistakes) made a most delicious "lemonade" and I'm excited about returning to "my Treehouse" next year!!

Wonderful campsite. Neighbors were loud and very annoying, but I've come to expect that when camping. Good luck crossing the creek to get to the beach via trails from the campground.
