What Guests Are Saying
Eagle Rock Campground is a beautiful and quiet gem, offering stunning views, well-kept sites, and proximity to hiking trails and a river. While the campground is mostly clean and offers privacy, some facilities, like restrooms, could use improvement. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment and plan to return.

Beware of thieves in the area. This place is great since it is so close to many things to go do and explore. We had an amazing campsite at site 13 right next to the river. You can hear the cars along the highway but it wasn’t too bothersome for us. My only issue and the reason why I have to rate this place a 3* instead of a well deserved 5* is because while we were out one day there was someone/people who came into our site and stole our propane and our large utility tote. Thankfully we brought our most valuable stuff with us and they didn’t try taking down or making away with our tent or sleeping bags! It made us especially mad because we went out of our way to hide the tote and someone still snooped around to find whatever they wanted to take.
Rafting, kayaking, and hiking are AMAZING in this area though!!

We were at #4 and loved our stay. #4 is riverside but you can't see the water (it's a short, rocky walk downhill to a small bank - feels pretty secluded). Sites are well spaced. #23 seems to have the best river view/access. Sites #10, 11, 12 and 13 also have nice water views but they start to get close to the road. I'm not sure I'd stay here if I wasn't riverside; it seems like the only way to the river is through occupied riverside campsites. The area is beautiful and close to hiking/mountain biking trails.

No water or power, but beautiful river, stars at night & great company! Restrooms were clean. Trash piled outside of big cans by end of weekend.
Stayed at sites 11 & 13 with direct access to river. Down side was had to drive anywhere outside of campground, but we knew that beforehand. Hiked the North Umpqua trail which is superb!!!
