What Guests Are Saying
Hebo Lake Campground is a beautiful and tranquil destination with spacious, private sites and stunning natural scenery. Many visitors enjoyed excellent fishing opportunities and abundant wildlife, including a resident bald eagle. While the campground is well maintained by friendly hosts, campers should be aware that there's no potable water or firewood available, and the check-in process can be challenging due to limited phone service.

Nice lake with beautiful reflections. Moody with rain first night was gorgeous. Can be a bit noisy from day use. Lots of dead trout and fishing line in trees. Decent stay over spot but I likely wouldn’t stay here again. Site 1 was a solid nook but the fire pit was too tall. Site 2 was great by the lake but very exposed to day use / people driving through.

Stayed in #9 A lot of tree cover, which was nice because we had a little rain. The spot for your tent is right next to a little creek, which is so awesome and calming. We had 3 tents, so we had to have one up on the parking/picnic area. Be warned, it’s really rocky and a little uneven. The campground is taken care of really well and the vault toilets aren’t horrible. Would like to come back!

Wonderful campsite. Very private and spacious. Site details should include the fact that it’s a walk up site though. Probably about 100 ft from parking area

Cleanest campsites I've seen. The camp's hosts were wonderful and friendly. Great spot for kids.

This was by far one of the best kept Forest Service campgrounds we have stayed at. The bathrooms were immaculate -- they even smelled good. The hosts were a friendly couple who helped us with directions to various places. The campground was small and very quiet. A really nice place to stay.
