What Guests Are Saying
Sandbeach Campground offers a clean, well-maintained environment with friendly camp hosts and excellent access to the beach and dunes, making it a great spot for families and ATV enthusiasts. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and enjoyable atmosphere, despite some noise from OHVs and occasional bathroom maintenance issues. While it may not be ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, it provides a fun, active camping experience.

All was very good except policing the camp sites. Other hosted sites we've visited were policed well, here there were bottle caps & bits of trash all around & the fire pit was a trashy mess. Bathroom was great. Visitors were great.

Have not been here in a few years but things have changed..... Noticed numerous irresponsible parents riding quads around camp with two to three children on them, no helmets of course. Even a guy on a one wheel with an infant.... The political flag wavers were very annoying. Some of the flags had numerous profanities for all to see in the campground and of course a few confederate flags. Apparently nobody can escape this nonsense. The paraglider’s were extremely annoying and very noisy. They buzzed the campground most of the day, which we were on the edge of so it was pretty constant. They are loud enough that you can’t have a conversation with someone standing 10ft from you. They also started flying about 630am, so good morning. Things definitely have changed here over the years.... not impressed. The campground itself was absolutely fine and the people running it were nice.

We love Sandbeach Campground! The park hosts (Walter and Paulette) are amazing people. They always remember us and treat everyone with kindness. We love the beach for its crabbing and love riding our bikes around the park.
